Test de connaissance du français pour demande d’admission préalable (TCF DAP)

What is TCF DAP? | If you want to register in France for a first or a second year of undergraduate studies or for a school of architecture and you do not have the DELF B2 or DALF diploma, you must take the specific TCF test for the preliminary admission application, called “TCF pour la DAP”. |
Who can take it? | Candidates must be at least 16 years of age to take the TCF test. Candidates may take the test several times, allowing for a minimum of 30 days between two exam sessions. |
What will be assessed? | The TCF DAP is composed of four modules: - Listening 29 questions – 35 min - Reading 29 questions – 55 min - Writing 3 topics – 60 min - Language structures 18 items – 25 min |

Calendar | - For the start of the university year in September 2023, candidates will need their results before the start date of university application commissions (set for March 16, 2023) and will therefore have to take the TCF as part of the DAP by February 17, 2023 at the latest. - For the September 2023 intake to the School of Architecture, candidates will need their results before the start date of the university application commissions (set for March 1, 2023), and will therefore have to take the TCF as part of the DAP no later than February 1, 2023. |
